Book Designer and Illustrator
Rowen Nathan-Hill has been a graphic designer and illustrator since the early 1980s. His background is in advertisement and corporate design
producing a variety of material on both national and international levels. His design work has taken him overseas and led to a lecturing position at the then TAFE Design and Multimedia faculty in Launceston.
Rowen was taught the traditional methods of design and layout - important skills and values that he thinks are just as critical to today's modern era of digital design.
Rowen has many other interests, but paramount are family, friends and music. He considers himself to be a brilliant guitarist trapped inside a terrible guitarist's body.
His bass playing is even worse. Aviation has been a life-long passion for Rowen and combining the subject matter of Frank's latest book with his love of technical
illustration and graphic design has culminated in what he describes as a "once-in-a-lifetime dream job".
